a literary journal he co-founded with Cornelia Seckel in 1984 and for
which he serves as Editor.

one-hundred American and European artists for various publications and
regularly critiques and/or reviews exhibitions, art books and art videos
for ART TIMES.
Mr. Steiner is called upon from time to time to jury and/or
judge art exhibits throughout New York State, his most recent (2007) a
group show at the Woodstock Artist Association Museum in Woodstock, New
York and the Audubon Artists's 65th Annual Exhibition in New York City.
In July of 2000, he curated his own show, ““The League in
Woodstock, New York: 1906” presented” at the Woodstock School
of Art (the former home of the Art Student League of New York's Summer
Sessions) at Woodstock, New York.
In addition to several Introductory Essays to several art
catalogues/monographs, Mr. Steiner is the author of several books, both
on art and non-art related subjects. He has been a member of the following
organizations: National Arts Club, NYC; National Press Club, Washington,
D.C.; Artist Fellowship, Inc. (where he once served as vice-president);
the American Society of Aesthetics; the International Association of Art
Critics; the Salmagundi Club; the Woodstock Artists Association; the Hudson
Valley Art Association. He is listed in Strathmore's Who's Who and in
